Return to Tennessee Home Page

This list covers only members of the State or local Militia Units. Soldiers in the Regular (Federal) Army will be added later.

A list of Waller men from Tennessee who served in the local or State Militia during the War of 1812. If you know of such a veteran not listed on this page, please Email Ali.

Only one Officer is listed. A Captain Obediah Waller. He served under Col. Wm. Metcalf in the 1st Regiment, West Tennessee Militia Infantry.

There are four Waller men from the enlisted ranks. Residence was omitted from all but it can be deduced from their officer's regiments that all, or almost all, were from the Nashville area.
Pvt. Eli Waller
