DANIEL WALLER, was born Circa 1758 in Virginia, it is not known where in Virginia he was born. He is an early settler of Mecklenburg County. He is the son of Edward and Mary ( ) Waller. He enlisted as a Soldier in Captain Harry Dudley's Company of the 2nd Virginia State Regiment, Continental Army, Comanded by Colonel William Brent, in the Revolutionary War in 1777 and to serve until March, 1780. He was paid 6 2/3 Dollars each month.

He fought in the battles of Stony Point, New York, and Monmouth, New Jersey. He was discharged in the year 1780.

On April 29, 1788 he married Frances Holmes in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. She is the daughter of Isaac and Lucy (Ballard) Holmes. There were five children born to Daniel and Frances (Holmes) Waller.

Daniel Waller: Ordered that record be certified (On evidence of John Waller, Administrator of Daniel Waller, deceased) that John Waller, Isaac Waller, William Waller, Frances Wilson, and the children of Rebecca Toone, deceased are the only heirs at law of Daniel Waller.

Daniel Waller: It appears to the Court that satisfactory evidence was produced that, Daniel Waller, a Revolutionary Pensioner late of this County, departed this life, May 7, 1834, leaving no widow at time of his death; and that Isaac Waller, John Waller, Fanny Wilson, widow of James Wilson, and William Waller, all of lawful age, are his only living children and heirs of Daniel Waller, deceased. Ordered that same be certified.

Isaac H. Waller was born December 10, 1790 in Mecklenburg, Virginia. He is the son of Daniel and Frances (Holmes) Waller. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, June 19, 1812, in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, a day after the War of 1812 was declared with Great Britain. He served as a Corporal in Capt. Lewis Littlejohn Taylor's and John Macre's companies, 20th regiment of U. S. Infantry, also in Captain Tomas Post's company, 12th regiment of U.S. Infantry. He was transferred to Captain White Young's company, 8th regiment of United States Infantry. He served with General Andrew Jackson at the "Battle of New Orleans" and he continued to serve until June 19, 1817, when he was discharged from the Army, he returned to his home in Virginia. On June 25, 1828 in Brunswick County, Virginia, he married Rebecca V. Singleton, she was born March 30, 1803 in Brunswick, County, Virginia. She is the daughter of John and Rebecca (Crook) Singleton. I. H. Waller and his wife left Virginia and settled in Henry County, Tennessee. (Paris, the county seat). Isaac Holmes Waller, requested that his Military Bounty Land Warrant No. #10172 for 160 acres of land to be located in the "Missouri Territory". He and his family left Tennessee and settled in Greene County, Missouri (Not far from Springfield) November of 1856. On November 14, 1856 he applied for 160 acres of land but his request was turned down and he never learned why. He left Greene County, Missouri, went south and settled in Scottsville, Pope County, Arkansas in August of 1858.

I. H. Waller went into Dover, Arkansas, August 17, 1858 and applied again for 160 acres of land on his Military Bounty Land Warrant No. 10172 and his request was granted. He lived in Scottsville until about 1870. He left there and went into Pottsville, Arkansas where he lived for a short time before going into Lewisburg, Conway County, Arkansas. (Now Morrilton, Conway County, Arkansas.)

I. H. Waller applied for a Military Pension, September 21, 1871 in which he received after he settled in Lewisburg. He and his wife lived in Lewisburg until their death in 1876. I. H. Waller died May 11, 1876, aged 85 years, 5 months, and 1 day. His wife Rebecca, died July 10, 1876, aged 73 years, 3 months, and 9 days. Their bodies were laid to rest in the "Old Lewisburg Cemetery" on the bank of the Arkansas River at Morrilton, Arkansas.
