Descendants of John Robert Waller

My ancestor, John Robert Waller, is first found in Rutherford County Tenn married to his first wife, Mary Elizabeth Clemmons, in the 1860 Federal census. She died 13 May, 1867. I next find John living in Giles County Tenn in 1870 with his two young children. Living close by was a man by the name of Robert Clemmons, probably his brother in law. Also living close by was the family of Thomas and Eleanor Clark. Their daughter, Mattie Malcom Clark, became the second wife of John Robert Waller. (It took alot of looking to find John in 1870 because he is listed as Robert "Walker" in the census index.)

By 1880, the Wallers had moved to San Saba County Texas. John's brother, Sam W Waller was also living there at that time. The last census that I find John in is the 1900 Tarrant County Texas federal census. He later died in Durant Oklahoma. His body was brought back to the Arlington Texas area, where he was buried at the old Johnson Station Cemetery, south of Arlington.
