Jemima English Will:
Short and condensed version (we have a copy of the original will) of a Waller will: date 9/15/1837, Bryan co., GA. Deed bk. E, p. 257: Jemima English of Bryan Co. GA. "for the love and good will which I have towards George Waller, the child of my body, at this time age thirty seven or thereabouts, bequests and do freely give of my real estate".
1. The plantation I now live on, containing 150 acres which land was granted to William Harvey, Sen. 11/1/1814.
2. Another tract containing 400 acres no improvements thereon, granted to George H. Shuman dated 12/15/1834.
3. Another tract of 50 acres granted to said George H. Shuman dated 11/25/1831.
4. Another tract containing 150 acres, granted to James Cook 11/27/1820.
5. Another tract containing 200 acres granted to Wm. English.
6. One lot in the gold region containing 40 acres granted to Robert Partin, lot 798 3rd (?) Quality, 2nd district 1a section Cherokee.
The first five tracts situated in Bryan County....etc.... To "aforesaid George Waller, the heir of my body at present", signed Jemima English. (Her mark x)
